On Thursday April 20th, the 8th grade Jr. Catechists, Frankie Gomez and Madison Tokarz and Religion Teacher, Mrs. Lazo attended the 2023 Most Holy Eucharist Devotional Project Mass celebrated by our Superintendent of Catholic Education, Rev. John Belmonte at Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church in Venice, FL.
Also in attendance was one of the winners of this year's Most Holy Eucharist Devotional Art Contest, Owen Wessal accompanied by his father Mr. Wessal.
There was a reception after the Mass where the Jr. Catechists were recognized for their work in teaching the students of their schools about the Most Holy Eucharist. The winners of the Most Holy Eucharist Devotional Art Contest were also recognized for their excellent work in creating a visual representation of the Most Holy Eucharist. There were over 300 student art submissions made for the contest and only seven were selected as the winners. The winners were also given their framed artwork to take home.
