Antoinette M (Toni) Joyce is a lifetime Catholic who was educated for 12 years in a Catholic school environment. After graduation from Mother Seton Girls Academy, she attended a 2-year program and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a life learner who has certifications in Conflict Resolution, Organizational Management and Grant Writing. She is licensed in the states of Florida and Oklahoma as an Agent in Life, Health and Annuities insurance. Toni’s 30-year career was focused in the nonprofit sector, serving as Executive Director for the National Association of Social Workers in Louisville, Kentucky. She was with the American Federation of Teachers acting as a lobbyist in Washington, DC, whose primary focus was the advancement and betterment of the teaching profession. In recent years as she prepares for retirement, Toni’s primary focus has been research and development of grant funding in rural areas for underserved populations. Throughout her career, Toni continues to believe that God has placed her where she needs to be for a purpose to fulfill the service of His work. She is the proud mother of one daughter, Danielle; son-in-law, Brian; and Granddaughter, Julianna.
