Saint Catherine Catholic School provides a Christ-centered education and a strong Catholic foundation where children can strengthen their relationship with God and prepare for life's challenges and their service to others.
Our Philosophy
Acknowledging our partnership as the school community of Saint Catherine, we promise to work together to:
• Teach the message revealed by God which the Church proclaims
• Foster and nurture each student’s faith through prayer, the Sacraments, attending Mass, and community service

Welcome to St. Catherine Catholic School!
We are delighted that you are exploring our school community. At St. Catherine Catholic School, our mission is to form saints and scholars through a rich Classical Catholic education rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the timeless wisdom of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Founded by St. Catherine Parish in 2008, our school serves more than 200 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade across two campuses in the heart of Sebring, Florida.
As one of 18 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Venice, St. Catherine's provides a rigorous academic program that cultivates wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning. Through the classical model, students encounter the great books, history, literature, mathematics, science, sacred scripture, fine arts, and music, including our newly formed string orchestra, while developing the habits of critical thinking, clear communication, and moral character. Every subject is taught in the light of the Catholic faith, helping students recognize truth, goodness, and beauty in God's creation.
Beyond the classroom, students have opportunities to discover and develop their God-given gifts through a variety of extracurricular activities, including Book Club, Art Club, Board Game Club, Student Ministry, National Junior Honor Society, and other enrichment opportunities that foster leadership, creativity, and service.
Our school is more than a place of academic excellence—it is a faith-filled family. Daily prayer, regular participation in the sacraments, and a culture of charity and respect help students grow spiritually, intellectually, and personally. St. Catherine's prepares young men and women to succeed in high school, college, and, most importantly, to live lives of faith, purpose, and service.
St. Catherine Catholic School is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC) and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). We also offer after-school care, tutoring, and transportation to our sister parishes: St. Michael in Wauchula, Our Lady of Grace in Avon Park, and St. James in Lake Placid (with bus stops at Santiago Mission and Campo San Jose). Scholarships and financial assistance are available to qualifying families.
