Children Outside St. Catherine Church

Our Mission

Saint Catherine Catholic School provides a Christ-centered education and a strong Catholic foundation where children can strengthen their relationship with God and prepare for life's challenges and their service to others.

Our Philosophy

Acknowledging our partnership as the school community of Saint Catherine, we promise to work together to:

• Teach the message revealed by God which the Church proclaims

• Foster and nurture each student’s faith through prayer, the Sacraments, attending Mass, and community service

• Recognize all students have their own unique level of ability and achievement

• Build a positive self-concept and sense of self-worth in each student entrusted to our care

• Provide a curriculum in which students will experience a constructive pattern of growth leading to personal fulfillment and future success as lifelong learners

• Provide a foundation of skills that will enable all students to be creative users of technology both now and in the future Students attend Saint Catherine

Catholic School to develop fully their God-given talents and abilities.
To accomplish this, students are expected to:

• Do their best work always

• Show respect for the work of their teachers, volunteers, and peer

• Treat all members of the school community with respect
• Obey all school policies, procedures, and responsibilities

• Develop personal standards of conduct that reflect Christian morals and behavior

• Help care for school property and keep the school free from damage and defacement

Principal's Message

Principal Steven Cullipher

Welcome to our website! At St. Catherine Catholic School, we emphasize our Catholic identity and help every student achieve their highest academic potential. The school was established in 2008-09 by St. Catherine Parish. We have two campuses located in the heart of Sebring, Florida, serving over 170 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. As one of 18 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Venice, St. Catherine’s offers a challenging curriculum with an emphasis on STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). There are also several afterschool clubs and organizations where students can discover and develop their gifts and talents, such as Book Club, Art Club, Chess Club, STREAM Club, Cantor Club, National Junior Honor Society, and more.

With an emphasis on strong faith, academic excellence, and a caring family atmosphere, St. Catherine’s establishes the momentum for students to succeed in high school, college, and beyond.

St. Catherine’s is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC) and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).

St. Catherine’s offers a VPK program, after-school care, after-school tutoring, and transportation to our sister parishes: St. Michael’s in Wauchula; Our Lady of Grace in Avon Park, and St. James in Lake Placid (bus stops at Santiago Mission and Campo San Jose). Scholarships and Financial Aid are available.

I encourage you to call the school at 863-385-7300 if you would like more information or to schedule a tour of our campuses. We would be honored to meet you and personally introduce you to the blessings of St Catherine Catholic School.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
