Mr. Sáenz...
Mr. Timothy Sáenz teaches Earth and Space Science for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, as well as Social Studies for 7th and 8th grades at St. Catherine Catholic School. He is certified in Middle Grades Science (5–9) and English (6–12) and is currently pursuing certification in Middle Grades Social Studies (5–9).
In addition to teaching, Mr. Sáenz is an accomplished writer. His award-winning science fiction flash fiction story Cyberkarma was published in the Spring 2023 issue of Eye Contact, the literary and art magazine of Seton Hill University.
Married for over three decades to his wife, Lisa—also a teacher—Mr. Sáenz is a proud father of four grown children (including one in-law) and the grandfather of three grandsons. Outside the classroom, he enjoys dining out with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, and playing Risk with family and close friends. He is also an avid sports fan, especially of soccer (go, Messi!), football, chess, and women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark.
In quieter moments, Mr. Sáenz relaxes to Gregorian chant and has a special love for the Latin Mass.
