Marisol Torres
Spanish Teacher
Ms. Torres serves as the Spanish Teacher at St. Catherine Catholic School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is certified to teach K–3 and Spanish for grades K–8, allowing her to support students across a wide developmental range with both linguistic and academic expertise.
With eight years of experience teaching early childhood students in public, charter, and Catholic school settings, Ms. Torres brings a strong foundation in student growth, language development, and compassionate teaching. Her diverse background helps her create meaningful connections with students and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs.
Ms. Torres is passionate about student‑centered learning and believes deeply in creating a collaborative classroom environment. She strives to design lessons where students actively participate, work together, and explore the Spanish language in engaging and interactive ways.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors in nature, and helping children grow in confidence and curiosity. These personal interests reflect the same enthusiasm and care she brings to her classroom each day.
