The Very Rev. José A. González has faithfully served as a Roman Catholic priest for more than 31 years, dedicating his ministry to the people of Highlands County. As Pastor of St. Catherine Catholic Church and School, Father González is committed to fostering spiritual growth, strengthening parish life, and advancing Catholic education.

Throughout his priesthood, Father González has demonstrated visionary leadership, most notably by initiating the process to establish a Catholic school in Highlands County—an enduring contribution to the community’s educational and faith‑formation opportunities.
