Leyda Calvillo has been part of St. Catherine Catholic School since 2020 when she moved to Highlands County with her husband and cat named Beans. Leyda grew up in what she likes to call “little old Wauchula.” Alongside her husband and core team, Leyda is a volunteer Youth Minister for St. Catherine’s Youth Group at our Parish. In her free time, Leyda enjoys reading, scrapbooking, visiting history museums, and taking trail walks in Florida’s beautiful state parks. Leyda has earned her Associate In Liberal Arts Degree from South Florida State College and looks forward to earning her Master's Degree in Social Work soon.
